accountancy students get Peachtree and
UBS for their computerized business solutions
training.
The University
of Sri Jayawardenapura, the premier university
for management studies in Sri Lanka has
introduced the Peachtree and UBS for their
computerized business solution software
training program of B. Sc. Accountancy
and B.Com. Degree programs. Third year
students who are taking the above degree
programs now get the opportunity to learn
those two software packages from Sage.
The Management Faculty and Commerce Faculty
will offer a 30 hour theory and 60 hour
practical program for their Accounting
and B.Com. undergraduates, on Sage Peachtree
Accountants Edition and Sage UBS Accounting,
Stock Control, Human Resource Management,
Payroll and Time Attendance Software Solutions.
Without a doubt this program will broaden
the horizon of the learning sphere of
students and will add much needed skills
for their future employment, especially
in the corporate sector.
