J’pura
accountancy students get Peachtree and UBS for
their computerized business solutions training.
The University
of Sri Jayawardenapura, the premier university
for management studies in Sri Lanka has introduced
the Peachtree and UBS for their computerized
business solution software training program
of B. Sc. Accountancy and B.Com. Degree programs.
Third year students who are taking the above
degree programs now get the opportunity to learn
those two software packages from Sage. The Management
Faculty and Commerce Faculty will offer a 30
hour theory and 60 hour practical program for
their Accounting and B.Com. undergraduates,
on Sage Peachtree Accountants Edition and Sage
UBS Accounting, Stock Control, Human Resource
Management, Payroll and Time Attendance Software
Solutions. Without a doubt this program will
broaden the horizon of the learning sphere of
students and will add much needed skills for
their future employment, especially in the corporate
sector.

honoured to play the role of intermediate in
this remarkable event, where the Number One
university for Management Studies in Sri Lanka
is introducing software from the world Number
One Business Solution Services Provider.
Mr Madura Gamanayake
the Managing Director of Perfect Business Solution
Services (Pvt) Ltd handed over the two software
packages to Dr Kelum Gamage in a simple ceremony
held at Accounting Resource Centre of University
of Sri Jayawardenapura. Mr Singha Dissanayake
the Deputy General Manager of Perfect Business
Solution Services (Pvt) Ltd and Mr Samitha of
Accounting Resource Centre were also present.
An outbound
training session for PBSS staff members at Aqua
Pearl Villa.
An outbound
training was organized for the staff members
of PBSS on 10th November 2007 at Aqua Pearl
villa, Moratuwa. The theme of the training was
“Team Approach towards Customer Service”.
Mr. Singha
Dissanayake the Deputy General Manager –Operations
introduced the theme of the day and briefed
the objectives of the training. Then Mr. Madura
Gamanayake the Managing Director delivered the
key note.
The second
session of morning was allotted for a Debate
Contest between two teams selected from the
staff.
The training
was concluded with few interesting team games
around 5.30 in the evening.
