The first step in this transformative journey is marked by the successful project kickoff of the #SAPBusinessOneHanasystem, achieved in collaboration with PBSS Group with over two decades of expertise.

The implementation of this cutting-edge ERP from the globally renowned brand SAP stands as a monumental achievement for both #NLB and the lottery industry as a whole. A celebratory event, graced by top executives and stakeholders from NLB and PBSS Group, marked the official unveiling of the project kickoff of SAP Business One Hana system.

The official unveiling ceremony witnessed the presence of NLB’s top executives – Dr. Chameera Yapa Abeywardhana – Chairman of National Lotteries Board, Dr. Kithsiri Manchanayaka – Director of National Lotteries Board, Ms. Hashini Jayasekara – General Manager of NLB and PBSS Group’s leadership team, including Dr. Madura Gamanayake – MD, Ms. Anjana Wijesinghe – CEO, Ms. Anjalika Alahakoone – DGM Sales & Marketing, and Mr. Sanath Kulathilake – DGM Business ERP, Mr. Gihan Perera – Project Manager, Business ERP, Mr. Thushara Medagedara – Manager Pre-Sales and Mr. Ravinaga Ariyawansa – Manager, Delivery.

NLB anticipates significant enhancements in control, efficiency, and centralization of its entire business processes through the SAP Business One Hana system. This transformation enables NLB to make informed, real-time decisions, thereby driving sustainable and profitable growth.

During the event, graced by the Dr. Chameera Yapa Abeywardhana Chairman of National Lotteries Board, Dr. Kithsiri Manchanayaka Director of National Lotteries Board, Ms. Hashini Jayasekara, General Manager and the executives of National Lotteries Board expressed pride in being the first Sri Lankan State Owned Enterprise to embrace this industry-leading technology.

The chairman of National Lotteries Board emphasized the software’s potential to boost productivity through agile processes, positioning NLB at the forefront of innovation in both internal operations and customer interactions.
