Marking a momentous step forward in its operational and workforce evolution, Kulasekara Oil Mills (Pvt) Ltd has officially kicked off the implementation of “Perfect People”, PBSS Group’s state-of-the-art Human Resource Information System (HRIS).

Founded over 70 years ago as a small-scale trading business rooted in traditional farming practices, Kulasekara Oil Mills has evolved into a formidable, pioneering leader in Sri Lanka’s coconut industry. From its early days of traditional copra and coconut oil production to incorporating as a private limited company in 2014, the organization established a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) to serve both local and international markets with excellence.

Operating from a remote region, Kulasekara Oil Mills is deeply driven by community empowerment, sustainability, and quality. Backed by ISO 22000 accreditation and eco-friendly manufacturing, the company provides over 80 direct jobs alongside extensive indirect employment—uplifting the local community through continuous skill development and sustainable income opportunities.

To support its expanding workforce and accelerate scalable growth, Kulasekara Oil Mills selected PBSS Group’s homegrown, cloud-based “Perfect People” HRIS platform. The implementation will centralize and digitize 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐲𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐥 operations across the organization, including attendance and leave management and payroll processing.
